Production Drawings 

 

Your production drawings must clearly reflect the textile items and be of a professional standard.

This includes:

The Garment 

• Front and back views

• The grain line 

• These drawings are drawn flat (not on a figure), not rendered but still show detail like gathers, folds, shape etc

The Pattern Pieces 

• All pattern shapes and markings (for all four garments) - seam allowance, notches, darts, fold lines etc. 

• You must label and number all pattern pieces - eg. IT01 Front - cut 1 on fold, IT01 Sleeve - cut 1 pair. 

 

All Production drawings must be:

• to scale and proportion

• fully dimensioned - seam size, yoke size, sleeve length etc 

• All appropriate views
