Creativity and Innovation

You must justify the creative and/or innovative ideas or techniques that have developed from your design inspiration.

Tips: Creativity and Innovation are different, be sure to use the words correctly.

Innovation = what new techniques/advanced techniques are in your design.

Examples:

- Using digital technolgy to design/print fabric

- Free-motion machining (rather than traditional hand embroidery)

- Dyeing fabric in a new way for a desired effect

- Making flowers from organza

- Disolvable fabric (solvy)

Creativity = what are your ideas/techniques that show creativity in your design.

Examples:

- Beading

- Embroidery

- Altering Patterns

- Manipulating fabric for a desired shape/silhouette

- Representing
