Focus Area
You must explain the relationship between your design inspiration and your focus area.
This means definining your focus area (Apparel, Non Apparel, Furnishings, Costume or Textile Art) and explaining why you have selected it.
Example:
Focus Area: Apparel
"This delicate 1950's dress is designed to be worn to formal events. The apparel focus area was chosen as it enables to design inspiration to be incorporated creatively and innovatively to produce and aesthetically pleasing, yet functional piece. The apparel focus area allows the dress to be worn to formal occassions, washed and worn again."
